The four thematic pillars at the HCEMM are highly complementary and synergistic in terms of the underlying concepts and research approaches. All of them involve the use of high-end technologies and benefit from the established advanced core facilities (ACF). These thematic pillars already have a stronghold in the Hungarian research system, so to establish the HCEMM research areas, already existing excellent Hungarian groups have created a ‘seed incubator environment’ of scientific excellence (research, infrastructure, education).
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 739593. HCEMM supported by EU Programme: H2020-EU.4.a. – Teaming of excellent research institutions and low performing RDI regions. Project starting date was 1 April 2017.
