Researcher
The team studies resected human cortical tissue and differentiated neurons in order to investigate human neuron physiology, molecular biology, and transcriptomics. The team’s particular focus is on identifying species-specific therapeutic targets.
Main responsibilities
Electrophysiological investigation of human brain tissue samples
Pharmacological analysis of human cortical neurons
Performing molecular analysis of human and rodent brain tissue
Contributing to experimental planning and execution
Requirements
MSc or PhD in biology, biotechnology or a related subject (e.g. physics or chemistry).
Working knowledge of English (written and spoken).
