Postdoctoral Researcher

The group conducts translational research on small cell lung cancer (SCLC), with a particular focus on epigenetic alterations related to tumor evolution. The project is carried out within the framework of HCEMM (Hungarian Centre of Excellence for Molecular Medicine) and is connected to several Hungarian and European institutions, as well as the EMBL network.
Main responsibilities
  • Performing epigenomic experiments
  • Maintaining SCLC cell cultures according to established protocols
  • Conducting experiments such as ATAC-seq, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, qPCR, and western blot
  • Preparing samples for next-generation sequencing
  • Experimental design
  • Leading projects related to the epigenetic evolution of SCLC
Requirements
  • Practical experience in cell culture and the experimental techniques listed above
  • At least intermediate level English proficiency (written and spoken)
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Preferred qualifications
  • PhD degree or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience with molecular biology methods
  • Experience with cell culture techniques
