The HCEMM-USZ StemCell Research Group (leaded by Prof. András Dinnyés) is looking for highly motivated scientist. The newly established, dinamicaly growing research team is doing translational research of human indued pluripotent stem cells in the frame of HCEMM (Hungarian Centre for Excellence in Molecular Biology), that is founded by EU and supported by EMBL. Based on this partnership, there are opportunities for participating on educational programs and international cooperations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of iPSC-based neuron and microglia cultures according to the protocols provided and technology improvement
  • Cell culture characterization (fluorescent microscopy, qRT-PCR, flow cytometry, Western blot)
  • Participating in manuscript preparation

Skills required

  • Biologist, biotech engineering, medical or veterinary medicine degree (at least BsC level)
  • English knowledge at least intermediate level (written and oral)
  • Verified experience in mammalian cell culture work
